Question 1

What is HoloPakistan (Holo)?

Accepted Answer

HoloPakistan is Pakistan's premier negative-bidding mobility and hospitality platform. It allows users to book city rides, intercity cabs, airport pickups, hotel rooms, student hostels, paying guest (PG) accommodations, and studio flats by proposing their own price in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and letting verified captains and hosts bid to match the offer.

Question 2

Which cities in Pakistan does Holo operate in?

Accepted Answer

Holo operates nationwide across major metropolitan hubs including Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Multan, Faisalabad, Peshawar, and Quetta, as well as key domestic tourism destinations in Gilgit-Baltistan (Hunza, Skardu) and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Swat, Murree).

Question 3

Where can I download the Holo App?

Accepted Answer

The Holo app is available for free on both Apple iOS App Store (https://apps.apple.com/pk/app/holo-bid-on-your-offer/id6474663556) and Google Play Store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pk.holo).

Question 4

How does negative bidding work on Holo?

Accepted Answer

Unlike traditional apps that impose arbitrary surge fares, Holo lets you name the exact price you want to pay. When you submit your request, nearby drivers or property hosts compete for your booking by bidding down toward your offer. You then pick the best bid based on price, vehicle/room photos, and driver rating.

Question 5

Can I negotiate or choose a specific captain/host?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You receive a live list of competing bids detailing captain ratings, completed trips, vehicle models, and pricing. You have full freedom to accept any offer that best matches your budget and preference.

Question 6

Are there any hidden booking fees or peak surge charges?

Accepted Answer

No. The price agreed upon during the bidding process is the upfront, final fare. Holo does not add hidden multipliers or surge charges during peak hours or weather changes.

Question 7

What ride and vehicle categories are available on Holo?

Accepted Answer

Holo offers 9 vehicle categories: Moto/Bikes, Rickshaws/Autos, Compact Hatchbacks (Mini), Sedans (AC Economy/Executive), 7-Seaters/MPVs, All-Terrain SUVs & 4x4s, Mini Coasters, Hiace Vans, and Electric Vehicles (EV).

Question 8

How do airport pickups and drop-offs work?

Accepted Answer

You can schedule or book instant airport transfers for Islamabad International Airport (ISB), Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore (LHE), Jinnah International Airport Karachi (KHI), and Multan International Airport (MUX). Drivers meet you at designated airport terminal zones.

Question 9

Does Holo offer intercity city-to-city rides?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can book one-way or round-trip intercity cabs across popular routes like Lahore to Islamabad, Multan to Lahore, Rawalpindi to Peshawar, and Karachi to Hyderabad with verified motorway drivers.

Question 10

Can I book a car with a driver for the full day?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Holo's 'Cars Per Day' service lets you reserve a car with an experienced captain for business meetings, weddings, shopping, or full-day road trips.

Question 11

How do I book a hotel room, hostel seat, or PG on Holo?

Accepted Answer

Select the 'Hotel Rooms', 'Hostel Seats', 'Paying Guest (PG)', or 'Studio Flats' category in the Holo app. Enter your target city/area, dates of stay, and your budget. Verified local property owners receive your request and send competing room offers.

Question 12

Are student hostels and PG accommodations verified?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All hostel listings and PG home providers undergo property inspections and identity document verification before being approved on the platform.

Question 13

Can I book hotels in Northern Pakistan destinations like Hunza and Skardu?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Holo features verified hotels, resorts, and homestays in Northern tourist hotspots including Hunza Valley, Skardu, Swat, Naran, and Murree.

Question 14

How is Holo different from Careem and Uber in Pakistan?

Accepted Answer

Careem and Uber use algorithmic surge pricing that inflates fares during peak times. Holo empowers riders to set their own budget without surge multipliers, offers lower driver commissions, and combines rides with hotel and hostel bookings in a single platform.

Question 15

How does Holo compare to inDrive in Pakistan?

Accepted Answer

While inDrive focuses solely on rides, Holo provides an integrated multi-service platform covering 8 ride and stay categories including daily car rentals, student hostels, hotel rooms, and PG stays, along with seamless local payment integration.

Question 16

Why choose Holo over Booking.com or Airbnb for Pakistan travel?

Accepted Answer

Holo natively supports local Pakistani payment methods (JazzCash, Easypaisa, 1Link Raast) avoiding foreign transaction fees, verifies local host properties on the ground, and allows bidding on room rates.

Question 17

How does Holo ensure passenger and traveler safety?

Accepted Answer

All captains undergo background checks, CNIC identity verification, and vehicle inspections. The app includes real-time GPS tracking that can be shared with family via WhatsApp or SMS, as well as an in-app emergency SOS button.

Question 18

What payment methods are supported on Holo?

Accepted Answer

Holo accepts Cash, JazzCash, Easypaisa, 1Link Raast digital transfers, and major debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, PayPak, UnionPay).

Question 19

What is Holo's cancellation and refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Holo maintains a transparent refund policy. If a booking is cancelled within the allowed grace period or if a service is unfulfilled, eligible payments are promptly refunded through the original payment method.
